On Sunday, I went on a nature walk with my friend Anna Lamm. We decided to explore the Zebulon area late in the morning, and we did a little photo swap. I go on nature walks and hiking just about every chance that I get. Most of the time, I go with my husband, and we also look for abandoned houses and ruins to photograph. Other times, I go with friends, or just with my puppy, Spencer. I'm not a super athletic person, despite having done dance and gymnastics (and even boxing for a brief time) throughout my teenage years and early adulthood. However, I have a need to commune, not just with nature, but with my surroundings. The landscape inspires my photography where ever I may be. When I'm in Europe, I also feel a need to constantly be outside communing with the city. I have a very strong relationship with my environment due to the type of photography I create. Anna did a wonderful job taking these photos, and I'm really happy to share them with you guys.
